925 sterling silver
925 sterling silver is the silver of fine jewelry: it contains 92.5% pure silver, alloyed with a little copper to give it the strength needed for everyday wear. It is a precious metal with a soft, natural glow that flatters every skin tone. It is rhodium-plated: a fine layer of rhodium, a precious metal from the platinum family, gives it an intense white shine and protects it from tarnishing.
Cubic zirconia
Cubic zirconia crystals are synthetic stones made in a laboratory. Their clarity and brilliance closely imitate diamond, which is why they are found in so many pieces of jewelry. Note: despite the similar name, cubic zirconia is not zircon, a natural gemstone.
