18k gold plating, 3 microns
We chose 18k gold plating for its warm color and durability: a 3-micron layer of gold is applied to the piece by electroplating. This thickness, regulated under French law, is what sets gold plating apart from gold-flashed jewelry, whose layer is much thinner. Labradorite
