How to wear the Star Necklace?
Worn close to the neck, it layers easily with a longer necklace.
18k gold plating, 3 microns
We chose 18k gold plating for its warm color and durability: a 3-micron layer of gold is applied to the piece by electroplating. This thickness, regulated under French law, is what sets gold plating apart from gold-flashed jewelry, whose layer is much thinner. Cubic zirconia
Cubic zirconia crystals are synthetic stones made in a laboratory. Their clarity and brilliance closely imitate diamond, which is why they are found in so many pieces of jewelry. Note: despite the similar name, cubic zirconia is not zircon, a natural gemstone.
